Japan: Lucky Star only SD Upconvert

muhootsaver contacted Kadokawa if the Lucky Star Blu-ray box will be based on a HD master or a SD master and, unfortunately, the series and the OVA were animated in SD. Only the concert has a HD master. This is really surprising because Kanon 2006 is older and was produced in HD (the making of on one of DVDs mentioned this) and almost everybody thought that Lucky Star followed as the next HD show. Even Haruhi-chan and Churuya-san were animated in HD so it looks like somebody wanted to save some money in the production back then…
At least I can now understand why the box is quite cheap for a Japanese BD box and I’m afraid that they will use Q-tec again>_<.

Obwohl ich sagen muss das der Anime onehin nur wenige Details hatt wie Schatten Lichteinflüsse aufwändig geizchnete Hintergründe ect . ( halt Typisch 4K Anime Adaption )
Wenn die schärfe stimmt und auch die Farbintensität dann reicht es denke ich mal .

Haruhi-chan sieht auch recht hübsch aus in HD, deswegen würde es sich wohl schon lohnen. Leider verschwinden bei Q-tec noch Details in den Hintergründen, deswegen bin ich nun am Grübeln…

Hm naja, ich würds sein lassen…das Upscale bei Haruhi war ja auch fast ne Katastrophe, da biste mit den DVDs genausogut bedient….wobei das Sammler wohl nicht interessiert
Die Serie hätte optisch aber sowieso nix was eine Blu-Ray rechtfertigen würde.

Lucky Star ist ja jetzt keine Show, die vor Details nur so strotzt, die DVDs sehen auch wirklich nicht schlecht aus, wenn ich sie hier selber vom Player hochskalieren lasse. Daher würde ich mir nur als absolutet extremer Fan, der ich nicht bin, die BDs kaufen. Musst du halt selber wissen, ob sich das lohnt, ich sage nein.
Ich hätte mich aber gefreut bzw. ich dachte, dass die Serie in HD produziert wurde.
