My finished article (First Look) vanished because my internet connection died ( >_<) when was trying to send the article, so here are now for the moment only the photos and screenshots. The picture quality is really great I think and looks sharper than most other TV anime I know. Packaging / Supplements: Screenshots:

Lucky Star is my favorite slice-of-life series, so this box was a must buy for me, even it’s just an upscale. I already own the series as R1-DVDs, but I haven’t bought the concert so far, which motivated me even more to get this release. Packaging: The packaging is very similar to the Haruhi TV

The long-awaited, very expensive (^^;) Clannad ~After Story~ Blu-ray box finally arrived and here’s my first look. I only watched some parts but I didn’t encounter any bad surprises so far, so that I’m very satisfied with this release. I only criticize the high price, but this is one of my favorite series, so I

The first volume of K-ON! is now available in the Bandai online shop. The normal price is listed as $34.99, but it costs there $24.48. It contains the first 4 episodes, an interview with the voice actress of Yui in the US dub and trailers. The Japanese version listed an audio drama and a commentary,

muhootsaver contacted Kadokawa if the Lucky Star Blu-ray box will be based on a HD master or a SD master and, unfortunately, the series and the OVA were animated in SD. Only the concert has a HD master. This is really surprising because Kanon 2006 is older and was produced in HD (the making of

Clannad After Story is now listed on CD-Japan. It will contain English subtitles, the creditless OP/ED, an illustration gallery and promotion clips like the Clannad / Kanon 2006 Blu-ray sets before. The price also is the same: 59600 Yen without taxes. A must-have for me even for this price… EDIT: Here’s the Amazon link: Source:

This was mentioned on Twitter by MangaUK. Season 2 and Haruhi-chan were also “hinted“, but no media was mentioned.

ultimatemegax posted in the Animesuki Forum that a Haruhi Blu-ray box will all episodes and both concerts and lots of bonus material is planned for October 22th. So far no information if subtitles are included but the price (39900 Yen) sounds ok for such a package, especially if it compared to the other KyoAni boxes
