Great review, but there’s two comments I’d like to add. The next-episode previews were web-only and posted the following Tuesday after the Saturday night airing. Secondly, the first series’s commentaries are being re-released on CD format with scripts, so it’s quite possible they will be subbed sometime soon.

Looks like a good release overall.

Awesome, mine just arrived. Haven’t got them time to watch yet – so far I’ve only been marveling the packaging and I really like the minimalist designs with the command spells.

The white/silver case look really nice. Also the menu with the splitted pictures. Thanks for the overview of the japanese version and the screens you included. Looks really, really good in HD. I’m a bit jealous. ^^

Da denkt man eigentlich, dass mit Einführung der Blu-ray weltweit ein einheitlicher Standard vorliegt und alle Filme eigentlich in 1080p24 vorliegen müssten. Trotzdem ist es irgendwie faszinierend und würde mich wirklich mal interessieren, wie man auf diese 25p Varianten kommt, es ist gibt ja noch andere Fälle. Wieso muss man sich denn immer neue Probleme schaffen, wenn es doch endlich so einfach sein könnte und man das japanische Material im Gegensatz zu DVDs nicht mehr auf PAL-Standards umwandeln muss. Bestätigt aber mal wieder, dass Kazé fast immer ein technisches Problem mit ihren Releases hat. Wie bekommt UA das denn immer so gut hin…

Ab November werde ich öfters auch mal ein paar Artikel zu US/UK-BDs machen, aber vermutlich werden diese kürzer ausfallen, da es dort ja auch genug Leute gibt, die dort längere schreiben^^.

Trotzdem wird man Hauptaugenmerk bei den deutschen Veröffentlichungen bleiben, da dort die Review-Konkurrenz einfach kleiner ist – zudem kriege ich da ja auch mal Rezensionsexemplare^^
